I guess Dean Ambrose didn't understand WWE's Wild Card Rule either.

All Elite Wrestling's (AEW) Double or Nothing PPV on May 25th at the MGM in Las Vegas was exactly what I needed as a disgruntled professional wrestling fan. Long have I suffered week after week watching an ever fragmented RAW and Smackdown. I am old, and remember the old ways.  I grew up in the American South with NWA, Smokey Mountain, and of course WCW as the main promotions. WWF came later and was different in it's own ways. I did not realize how much I missed Southern produced professional wrestling until now. All the technology in the world with all the talent and I am reduced to watching puppet shows and pancakes. It wasn't supposed to be this way. It was supposed to be better it was supposed to make sense. Deep inside of the WWE Champion, currently known as the Men's WWE Smackdown World Heavyweight Championship is the old ten pounds of gold I grew up with. The Flair Belt, the real worlds champion. Now merged with the WWE Championship by John Cena it offers little charm or comfort. It changes hands often and without much fanfare. It has been made out of recycled materials. It was all gone and over the South crushed and exiled. It's belts taken, it's champions broken, and it's fans off to find other entertainment. The south to the WWE is just the area between the NXT Performance Center and New York.

Last night at AEW Double or Nothing I saw Southern Professional Wrestling live again. Since Game of Thrones is over this is my Iron Throne now. There is and always have been a true borne heir to the throne. The McMahon's have always been usurpers. Now there is a new King in the South and his name is Rhodes. We should rally around him and pledge our loyalty without hesitation. Anything to shake WWE out of it's funk. Anything to watch some real pro-wrestling. No scripts, no planned ballet. Needless to saw I loved it and look forward to making a meetup in Los Angeles to watch AEW on TNT.

Nothing is perfect and neither were they. I would rather see Ric Flair strip down and fight his clothing than what Baron Corbin do anything.

WWE has been so confusing as of late that Dean Ambrose must have figured that means he can go on any show. John Moxley has returned! Who know what surprises they will have next PPV.
